The Hills We Will Die On

    >    Who We Are    >    Core Values

Our core values define who we are and guide everything we do. They’re not just words that look nice on a page or a t-shirt - they’re the hills we will die on. These values shape our culture, direct our decisions, and keep us laser-focused on what matters most: leading people to be all-in disciples of Jesus.

  • We believe Jesus came for everyone, no matter your background, story, or struggle. The gospel isn’t exclusive; it’s an open invitation to all who will come. Jesus Himself said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We refuse to put up barriers where Jesus has already torn them down (Galatians 3:28).

  • We believe the church isn’t a one-person show - it’s a team. Every follower of Jesus has a role to play, and when we bring our gifts together, the whole body grows stronger. “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it” (1 Corinthians 12:27). We’re better when we lock arms, carry one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and pursue the mission side by side.

  • Jesus told a story about a shepherd who left ninety-nine sheep to go after the one that was lost (Luke 15:3–7). That’s the kind of passion He has for people, and it’s the kind of passion we want to have too. We will do anything short of sin to reach people who are far from God, because every soul matters. Just like Jesus came “to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10), we go all in for the one.

  • In Luke 5:17–20, a group of friends literally tore through a roof to get someone to Jesus, and He honored their faith. That’s the kind of determination we want to live with. Nothing should stand in the way of people encountering Christ, and we’ll remove any barrier that keeps them from Him. If it takes creativity, sacrifice, or even a little mess, we’re willing to “wreck the roof” so people can find hope in Jesus.

  • We’re here to build God’s Kingdom above all else. Jesus taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). That means we celebrate and partner with what God is doing beyond our own walls, because the mission is bigger than one church. At the end of the day, it’s not about our castle - it’s about His Kingdom (Matthew 6:33).

  • We believe God’s not done yet - He always has more in store for His people. Paul reminds us that God “is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20). That means our hope isn’t anchored in what’s behind us but in the future God is shaping. With Jesus, the best is always yet to come.
