WHO WE ARE //
Our Values
•••
Our core values define who we are and guide everything we do. They’re not just words that look nice on a page or a t-shirt - they’re the hills we will die on. These values shape our culture, direct our decisions, and keep us laser-focused on what matters most: leading people to be all-in disciples of Jesus.
-
Everything begins and ends with God. We want our worship, our work, and our daily lives to reflect our love for Him and bring Him glory. When we honor God first, it centers our priorities, purifies our motives, and ensures that every decision, ministry, and goal flows from a desire to please Him above all else. This value keeps us grounded in humility and dependent on His presence.
“Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.” (Matthew 22:37-38)
“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)
-
Hope changes everything. In a world filled with uncertainty and pain, we exist to point people to the living hope found only in Jesus. This shapes how we preach, how we serve, and how we love people - meeting them right where they are with grace and truth. We want our church to be a place where broken hearts can heal and where every person leaves knowing there’s hope for their story.
“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)
“Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.” (1 Peter 3:15)
-
God made every person on purpose and for a purpose. We believe following Jesus means stepping into the good works He’s prepared for us to do. That’s why we invest in developing leaders, equipping volunteers, and helping people use their gifts to make a difference. This value keeps us focused on calling out potential in others and building a church where everyone has a part to play.
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10)
“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” (1 Peter 4:10)
-
We weren’t meant to follow Jesus alone. The Church is a family - a place where we can be known, loved, and challenged to grow. We’re committed to building authentic community where people can connect, build friendships, and find support through every season of life. This value drives our emphasis on small groups, relational ministry, and a culture that says, “You belong here.”
“But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.” (John 1:12-13)
“See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. 2Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.” (1 John 3:1-2)

Joy is a fruit of the Spirit, not a distraction from the mission. We believe following Jesus should bring life, laughter, and energy - not burnout. When we have fun, we reflect the goodness of God and show the world that life in His Kingdom is full and abundant. This value reminds us to celebrate, to enjoy each other, and to create environments that people love being part of.
“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.” (Proverbs 17:22)
“So I recommend having fun, because there is nothing better for people in this world than to eat, drink, and enjoy life. That way they will experience some happiness along with all the hard work God gives them under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 8:15)
